tv in japan is crap.
well, it is if youve got the channel selection ive got..one channel was just playing a selection of "happy memories" which included pres reagan getting sworn in, princess dianna getting married, all to a bland slushy tune..
other channels, on a friday evening!!, include a shopping channel, a channel which seems to always have these two blokes on, eating food, and theres some old film on the other channel.
theres about 10 channels altogether,non of em look entertaining to me, maybe thats why console games are so popular.or maybe everybody read anime here instead.
saw a poster for the gundam museum, i think i'll go.hopefully theres a full size robot you can climb in a shoot aliens and destroy robots in. Arriving from the airport always reminds me of godzilla movies, mainly because of the electricity pilons that are red/white striped..a monster would always crash into one of em, then get back up and blast godzilla back (godzooky wasnt around)
also, it feels safe here...everyone seems to lock their bikes in the street, and theyre perfectly safe.No one driving around loading them into lorries for the car boot sale. I'm used to living in a place where u lock up your stuff in a garage, turn on an alarm, and still perhaps wonder if one night it'll be nicked. Wondering around the streets last night, people dont seem to be concerned about their safety, women riding bikes,walking home though dark alleyways etc..no problem here...Its also really quiet too.
and its funny watching so many drunk people walk down the underground stairs late at night, swaying from one side to the other, its hard to get round them sometimes.
posh and becks say"wa wa" i think.spielberg is on a poster for universal world (they have a new spiderman ride).
and..why are there so many types of gundam robots here?

the best advert ive seen so far is for jr ski (train company over here, promoting a ski thing)..
worst thing..posh and becks on some advert thing on the tube wall..its worse than nigel kennedy (remember him?) on an ad in the tube train.though its all money in the bank.
it features an ostritch skiing in formation, doing some stunts, eating some food..either theyve got very clever animals , or its really good cgi.. i prefer to think its real.
i chatted to an american today, apparently no one in kentuky eats "kfc" because they're not chickens(the food served,not the people who live there), theyre some hybrid bizaro thing....maybe they say cob cob instead of boc boc. (chickens say boc boc in u.k)
bought some stuff, drank some drink, ate some food..
and running everything off one plug, as i only brought one uk>jap adapter..and forgot the lead to link camcorder to pc :( but i think i can buy one, japan has technology for that kind of thing...
i also saw those mints/sweet things that make poo smell nice...i was tempted to send some to where i used to work.. though i'm not implying anything by that statement.i think it had chocolat,peach and mint or something....
