AAAHHH!!!!!! , i'm in hell!!!!!
well, almost, and i'll get used to it soon so it wont feel so bad, but i'm back in england, its cold, grey,rainy, depressing and ..er....depressing.
everything seems really expensive, its full on xmas shopping time, and the stores are full of the most pointless crap ive ever seen...for the last six months i havent bought much , unless it was cheap enough to throw away ...like dvds n cds and games which didnt cost much at all...looking around the shops here, its more of a suprise than normal as ive been cut off from it for six months, but my instant reaction is that i want nothing to do with it, i'm only buying a few items for my neices n nephews, and friends kids, and thats about it i think..If youve been here for a while, i think as the xmas buildup happens you get used to it, and dont notice the amount of rubbish slowly filling the shelves..i think i'd really like to have just the minimum to live with ,...i already have loads of stuff myslef, i dont really want anymore, ..i've tried selling a few items, but they didnt sell, i have loads of cd's but i dont want to sell em for 50p each, it seems a little pointless...i'd get more enjoying smashing them with a hammer or burning them or something..
but, in a few weeks i'll be used to it again...ive alreayd had chinese food (which i prefer to actual food made in china)..
while waiting at watford station for a taxi(which took ages)..i put my bags down...the cheap suitcase i'd bought in hongkong had broken, the handle twisted and snapped, so i could walk back home..and it was raining,and cold..i thought my bags and things would be ok, but while i want looking, the one suitcase fell over...now i didnt really mind.....till i got home and just tried using my apple laptop...the cases are titanium, they all silver and marketed as if you cant live without it....your life will be fantastic if u have a sleek shiny metal thing, with the ipod attatched (dont beleive the bullshit!!!)...
anyway...my pc laptop, which is a cheap thing, not that great but it does the job (well, it overheats, it hasnt got a return key, and the dvd hardly plays anything)....is fine...no problems....the mac, with its sturdy titanium case, all shiny and metal...is slightly bent...theres a dent in the one side near the dvd drive, and a dent above it on the other side where the keyboard is....theyre not supposed to be there...so it seem the case isnt very durable after all...if i put a cd in, it makes strange noises and nearly ejects it...apart from that it still works as normal (the lcd screen is a little odd, if u have a white screen on it, the corners of the lcd are slightly darker, and the middle slightly lighter..as its a bit uneven colour wise...)...i was lucky enough not to buy the one which had the battery recalled because of faults in it too...
so either i coould try and undent it,(i'd really like to get a hammer and smash everything i have that is made by apple...)...or maybe i'll get anothe case, and hope the drive is ok..i havent used the thing much, but did intend to use it more for doing music and art on...
so, things in the uk are off to a crappy start...either itll get better, or my perception of it will get better(the reality will be its still a bit shitty, but i'll just get used to it)..or i'll just go back to hongkong or tokyo..or somehwere new, with nicer beaches, and cheaper living costs...
